Elizabeth is a proud Grand Rapids Community College graduate, receiving and transferring an Associates of Arts to Grand Valley State University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. Her personal experience as a transfer student continues with earning a Master's Degree in Counseling Education: College Counseling from Western Michigan University. She is a National Certified Counselor working towards the Michigan State Certifications.
Elizabeth is a proud first generation college student. She has worked in higher education as a student employee, administrative professional, and now, proudly, as an Academic Advisor. She has experience working in the Grand Rapids Tassell M-Tec location helping students in the Job Training and Workforce Training programs. Elizabeth has worked supporting the Disability Support Services and the Occupational Support Grant Program. She is currently advising and supporting students in the Academic Advising & Transfer Center with keen knowledge of the Futures for Frontliners program and Workforce Training Programs.

Personally, Elizabeth enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and camping with her family. She also believes in lifelong education and enjoys learning new things through reading and taking classes.
