Hi, I’m Katie Peña, and I serve as the Experiential Learning Coordinator at GRCC. In this role, I support our high-impact programs, including Honors, Study Away, Service Learning, and college-sponsored student travel. By coordinating program-specific events, developing communication strategies, and tracking student engagement. My goal is to ensure these opportunities are well-supported, widely known, and meaningful for the students who participate.
As a proud first-generation college graduate and GRCC alum, I understand the importance of accessible, engaging opportunities in shaping a student’s educational journey. After completing my bachelor’s degree at Grand Valley State University, I returned to GRCC as a staff member and am now pursuing my Master’s degree in Higher Education Leadership and Administration.
