Sandy is here to warmly welcome all students to the Center for Counseling and Well-Being. She has been a part of GRCC since 2009, serving in a variety of roles that center student support and success. Sandy has a deep knowledge of campus resources and is dedicated to helping students connect with the support they need.

She previously co-led College Action Project 3.3 - Addressing Student Basic Needs Insecurities, which led to the institutionalization of several vital support services for students. She is passionate about removing barriers that can get in the way of student well-being and achievement. Recognizing the essential role mental health plays in student success, Sandy was excited to join the Center for Counseling and Well-Being in June 2025.

Outside of work, Sandy finds joy in spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren. Her ideal day is spent lakeside, soaking up the sun with a good book in hand.
