The Promise Zone Scholarship is a place-based scholarship that provides qualifying high school students with access to attend Grand Rapids Community College for free, and pursue the academic, job-training or certificate program of their choice!

See If You Qualify

You're eligible to receive the scholarship if you:

1. Have lived within the City of Grand Rapids since the start of 11th grade.
2. Have attended one of the 25 high schools within city limits since the start of 11th grade.
3. Stay with it! Graduate from your high school.

Promise Zone Tutorial Center

The Promise Zone Tutorial Center is a rotational tutorial service for freshmen students at Innovation Central High School. Our lab combines classroom integration with small group tutoring to assist students with their course material. This is a free service. No appointments are necessary.
