Determine which English courses will meet and challenge your skill set

Accuplacer results aren't pass or fail — they help you identify any courses you can bypass, as well as the reading and writing courses best for you.

Email enroll@grcc.edu to ask for the practice test.

Who needs to take the test?

You must take the Accuplacer test for enrollment if you have:

  • Taken the SAT before 2016.
  • Taken the ACT before 2018.
  • Taken the Accuplacer test before the fall of 2018.
  • Fewer than 12 college credits.

Schedule Your Test

Take the test Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., when the last test begins.

When you've completed the assessment, you'll receive a printed report of your scores. You'll also receive a list of recommended courses for you to enroll in, but the testing staff cannot interpret scores for you.

To request scores for another institution, please fill out our Accuplacer Record Release Form.
