Up to 28 hrs/wk (Flexible, M-F 8am-5pm)
● Assist students and parents with all aspects of the financial aid applications.
● The first point of contact for the Financial Aid Lab.
● Assist students and parents with FAFSA completion in the Financial Aid Lab.
● Assist in creating financial aid communications and promotional brochures.
● Assist with student workshops (Ex: FAFSA events, Financial Literacy, Raider Rally, Fall/Spring
open houses, Ready Set Enroll).
● Scan and link required financial aid documents received by paper or electronically through
fax or email into the Image Now Perceptive Content system.
● Gather and collect financial aid intake forms.
● Assist with organizing student events (Dual Enrollment, etc).
● Assist students with the bookstore authorization and student responsibilities, etc.
● Assist students in the use of technology to obtain information and submit applications,
including, but not limited to, the Online Center, the MISSG portal, FSA ID, FAFSA on the Web,
online student loan, application process, the tuition payment plan, Reconnect Application
and the GRCC Foundation online scholarship application.
● Assist students and parents with interpreting their GRCC student accounts.
● Assist in creating, reviewing and revising all financial aid communications and
promotional/informational materials.
● Coordinate all incoming and outgoing office mail service.
● Assist with ordering office supplies, printing services jobs and organizing the supply room.
● Foster a friendly, supportive, and welcoming environment for students and parents.
● Preferably experience in customer service.
● Dependable and Teamplayer.
● Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically, MS Word, Excel).
● A willingness to learn Campus Wide Information System, Campuslogic, Image Now
Perceptive Content, and Navigate.
● Ability to work in a busy, student-centered environment with many interruptions.
● Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.
● Be flexible in schedule to allow for changes during the semesters, in accordance with busy
periods.
● Ability to assist students of diverse backgrounds, educational levels, and linguistic abilities.
