ā— Answer telephones with professionalism and respond to office requests and inquiries
ā— Customer Service: Provide a welcoming work environment, a general understanding and specific information regarding the College’s resources and offices: Student Life, Financial Aid, Disabilities Support etc.
ā— Answer basic questions regarding similar services in other departments, i.e., and Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Financial Services.
ā— Supporting outreach initiatives to students regarding academic support, personal and professional development
ā— Perform administrative work and assist student, staff, and faculty questions
ā— Participate in WCIMA events and programs
ā— Assist with data collection from students or WCIMA initiatives
ā— Serve on planning committees for office initiatives
ā— Perform document management, scanning, and processing of electronic documents
ā— Reply professionally to e-mail correspondence daily and maintain inbox
ā— General office duties as needed
ā— Scan confidential documents as needed
ā— All other duties as assigned by supervisor

ā— Must possess excellent communication and telephone answering skills with good command of the English language
ā— Proven customer service experience (six months minimum) with excellent attendance and punctuality
ā— Excellent computer, Internet, and data input skills showing speed and accuracy
ā— Excellent written communication skills in responding to Web inquiries
ā— Comfortable in learning and using new technologies
ā— Good organizational and problem solving skills
ā— Comfortable working with students of various ages, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and experience
ā— Must have positive attitude and enjoy working with people; be friendly, cordial, and a team player in a multi-person office
ā— Detail oriented, self-disciplined, strong work ethic, dependable, efficient with ability to handle workloads and deadlines with limited supervision; and high degree of stress tolerance for fast-paced office
ā— Must project professional image in manner and attire at all times
