Ticketing and Guest Services Assistants help create a welcoming and organized experience for audiences at Spectrum Theater. Assistants are cross-trained to support front-of-house operations during performance runs, including ticket sales, concessions, and ushering.

Description:
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to all Spectrum Theater guests.
• Answer phone calls, check voicemail for the Spectrum Theater Box Office and respond or rout questions to appropriate theater faculty or staff.
• Operate Ludus, Spectrum Theater’s point-of-sale ticketing system (training provided).
• Process ticket and concession sales during performance nights, including handling both cash and credit card transactions.
• Rotate among ticketing, concessions and usher assignments on performance nights.
• Contribute content or ideas for Spectrum Theater’s social media platforms (Facebook and
Instagram), as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Theater Manager.

• Availability to work evenings and weekends during performance runs is REQUIRED. These dates are predetermined and shared in advance. Performances are a key part of the position.
• Evening/weekend shifts during performance runs are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. A Sunday afternoon (matinee) shift is 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
• Willingness to learn and operate the Ludus ticketing system.
• Ability to stay organized and focused during busy times.
• Reliable, responsible and able to work as part of a team.
Transfer
