In these sessions we will:
- Explore the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and the POUR framework
- Create accessibility-first teaching materials
- Resolve accessibility issues in existing teaching materials
- We'll have plenty of time for Q&A and examples.
GRCC adjunct faculty are eligible to receive payment for attending this training*.
*Calculated according to Adjunct Pay for Training (Pages 50-51 of the FA contract) which states: "Adjunct hourly pay will be determined by their current adjunct contact hour rate divided by thirty (30)." Compensation is limited to a single 1.5-hour payment for Accessible by Design training. If you have already received compensation for previously attending Accessible by Design, you are welcome to participate in additional sessions, but you will not be paid again. The training must be completed in full to be eligible for payment.
