This session is specifically designed to help you create graphics for use directly in Canvas, using Canva, a free, user-friendly design platform that allows anyone to create professional-quality visuals with ease. You will learn how to create course banners, module headers, icon sets, assignment thumbnails, infographics, and announcement images. You’ll learn how to work with templates, customize layouts, use brand-consistent colors and fonts, and export your designs for seamless Canvas integration.
Participants must bring a laptop and be ready to practice creating during the workshop. You’ll leave with several usable graphics, increased confidence in your design skills, and a clearer sense of how thoughtful visuals can make your online course more inviting and intuitive for students.
