I am thrilled to be the main advisor for the Art, Architecture and Mechanical Design Pathway as well as the Music and Theater Pathway! I have both a music and theater background, and my husband is also a musician. I thoroughly love all things related to performing and fine arts and I am looking forward to helping you on your journey at GRCC!
I am also excited to support the Humanities, English, Language, and Communication Studies Pathway, the Education and Child Development Pathway, and the Social and Behavioral Sciences Pathway as part of my assigned pathway community.

- Virtual Drop Ins! Watch your GRCC student email for details including dates, times and how to access drop ins. Each time I schedule drop ins I will email you all necessary details.
- In Person Drop Ins! I will be scheduling in person drop ins in the Applied Technology Center, RJF Hall, Music Building, and the Theater Building in the future. Watch your email for details!
About Me
Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in professional writing with a minor in public relations. She then earned her Master of Education — Higher Education, College Student Affairs Leadership at GVSU. Erin is certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and enjoys helping students with career exploration. She was also recently certified as a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and uses her skills to help students with career development.
During her time in higher education, Erin has been an academic advisor at both GRCC and GVSU and has also served as the Transfer and Articulation Coordinator at GRCC. She started her professional career in higher education as a support professional after serving as a student employee for several years at GVSU.

Erin is the NACADA Region Five Steering Committee Michigan Liaison, and a Member At Large for MichCDA (Michigan Career Development Association).
When Erin is not working with students as an academic and career advisor she enjoys reading, writing, singing, hiking and spending time with her husband, daughter, and extended family and friends.
