Buzzitta, who joined the board in 2010, is the president and owner of Hughes Management, a healthcare facility development company. He is also the founder of Michigan Medical PC, where he served as CEO, board chairman, chief medical officer and managing shareholder.
He graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with an Associate of Science, completed his undergraduate work with honors at the University of Michigan, and received his doctorate degree at Wayne State University’s School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Butterworth Hospital and obtained board certification in internal medicine.
Buzzitta and his wife, Kathleen, reside in Grand Rapids.
