Hello! My name is Kelsey Bobeldyk, and I serve as the Bridges to College (B2C) Program Coordinator for our Grand Rapids campus. In this position, I lead the day-to-day operations of Bridges to College, ensuring our students feel confident and well-equipped as they begin their journey to college.
This work allows me to channel my passion for equitable access to higher education into connecting students with resources, community partners, and other students in their cohort. I am committed to equipping our B2C students with the skills and relationships they need to thrive at GRCC.
When I am not working alongside our Bridges to College students in the summer, I am a high school teacher with Grand Rapids Public Schools. I obtained my degree in secondary Spanish and ESL education from Calvin University and began my role as the B2C program coordinator shortly after. I am eager to begin my third year with such an excellent program.
I know that the transition from high school to higher education comes with a lot of uncertainty and change. The Bridges to College program creates a smooth and joyful transition–one that I am so grateful to be a part of. If you are looking to get connected, please do not hesitate to reach out.
