Lizbeth serves as the One Stop Specialist for the Adult Recruitment department at GRCC. In her role, she manages the department’s administration, events, communication, and resources. She also meets one-on-one appointments with students to assist with admissions, financial aid, GED options, enrollment, and more. Lizbeth is passionate about guiding adult learners to their career goals, whether that path includes earning a degree, completing a job training program, or obtaining a GED. To whichever path students decide to take, she is there to provide a welcoming and supportive environment.
Lizbeth started at GRCC in 2021 as a student employee for TRIO Student Support Services and Student Records. During her time as a student employee, her passion for assisting and serving students grew. She loves being an asset to students, especially those in the non-traditional student population. As a non-traditional, first generation college student, she emphasizes the importance of using the resources available at a community college to reach one’s ultimate goal of success. In 2023, she took on her previous role as an Office Support Professional for the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center. In 2026, she transitioned to her current role with the Adult Recruitment department.
Lizbeth is a proud GRCC alumna. She earned her Associate’s Degree from GRCC in 2023 and her bachelor’s degree at Ferris State University in 2025. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Higher Education at Central Michigan University.
