Mary Reed serves as Associate Director of the Grand Rapids Community College Foundation, bringing more than 20 years of experience at GRCC and extensive expertise in donor stewardship, scholarships, Foundation operations and constituent relations.
A GRCC alumna, Mary began her career at the college in the Financial Aid Office in 2002 before joining the Foundation in 2011. Since then, she has held several roles within College Advancement, including Donor and Scholarship Information Coordinator and Donor Stewardship and Event Manager, before stepping into a Foundation leadership role in 2024.
As Associate Director, Mary helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, including budget management, board and committee support, donor stewardship, scholarship administration and Foundation processes. She works closely with Foundation staff and campus partners to strengthen operations and support the Foundation’s efforts to build meaningful relationships with donors and advance student success.
Mary earned an associate degree from GRCC and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Ferris State University, graduating cum laude.
