Stacia received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan and her Master of Education with emphasis on Higher Education Administration from the University of Toledo.
She has 20 years of experience in Higher Education working with residential students, student leaders, international visiting scholars, as adjunct faculty, and now with the awesome community at GRCC, having worked in Student Success and Retention and Financial Aid and Scholarships before moving to Human Resources. Prior to coming to GRCC, Stacia also spent time as the Payroll Clerk for the Grand Rapids Police Department and co-owned an environmental consulting company.
As a Grand Rapids native, Stacia and her Prom-date-turned-husband moved back to the city they love so much and she is now a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) trainer in Grand Rapids. She is a member of GRCC's 2018 Leadership Institute cohort and the second cohort of Intergroup Dialogue.
Outside of the office, Stacia enjoys organic gardening, baking, thrifting and repurposing, hanging out in Pentwater, and brainwashing her step kids into an unhealthy love of Michigan athletics. Go Blue and Go Raiders!
