GRCC Tuition Waiver Benefit

Employees interested in waiving GRCC tuition for themselves, spouse, or children must complete the Tuition Waiver Form. The tuition waiver benefit applies to tuition and fees. Please refer to your employee contract or handbook for details on the tuition waiver benefit and age restrictions. Adjuncts, please refer to the faculty contract "Grand Rapids Community College Tuition Waiver" section for details on eligibility. 

A tuition waiver form must be completed for each dependent and for each semester that you are requesting the tuition waiver benefit. Tuition waiver form must be submitted no later than seven days prior to the posted tuition due date or you risk having classes dropped. Tuition Reimbursement at Other Institutions: All full-time employees

Tuition reimbursement is available for courses taken at other Universities/Colleges per the contracted employee agreement. Please complete the Tuition Reimbursement Form no later than two weeks before the start of the course to receive approval. Return the approved form and supporting documents no later than 30 days after the course is completed for reimbursement.

Employees seeking tuition reimbursement must submit proof of successful completion and an itemized tuition bill and receipt within 30 days following the completion of the class(es). The information is verified and reimbursement is paid out through the recipient’s paycheck.
