UDL: Teaching for All Learners

In this session, we will explore the research supporting UDL and consider ways to apply the UDL Guidelines in your classroom. If you are new to UDL, this workshop will help you to unpack the guidelines and share your insights. If your comfort with UDL falls further along the continuum of experience, this workshop will invite you to take your learning deeper and share your expertise.
Understanding How Attendance can Impact our Students

This presentation will give an overview of the GRCC attendance policy and how it works. We will also cover the different components and how they can affect a student's progress. Additionally, we will share strategies for how to monitor attendance and communicate with students about absences.
Teaching with Panopto

In Panopto Basics, we'll discuss logging in, recording, organizing, and sharing videos in Panopto. In Panopto Beyond Basics, we'll dig deeper into Panopto, starting with advanced recording options like the Panopto desktop recorder. We'll also look at advanced features in the Panopto video viewer and editor, as well as some helpful Panopto integrations with the LMS, including quizzing and assignments.
Teach Like a Facilitator

Copyleaks: Using the AI Detection Tool in Canvas

Copyleaks is GRCC's new plagiarism and AI detection tool embedded in Canvas. In this session we will walk through setting up plagiarism and AI detection on Canvas assignments. We will also discuss reasons for using and not using these tools and explore ways to promote academic integrity using the Good Practices for Inclusive Teaching & Learning.
Building Better Teaching & Learning: A LEGO Serious Play

In this hands-on workshop using the LEGO Serious Play methodology, we'll explore teaching and learning principles and practices through building LEGO models. We'll reflect, share, and model collaboration, innovation, and storytelling as we see it in our daily teaching practice.
