Accessible by Design
The updated guidelines for ADA Title II have broad impacts on course content across modalities. As GRCC shifts to a proactive model of accessibility, TLDE is your partner in accessible teaching materials. Join us for an overview and refresher on accessibility principles as we prepare together for the upcoming April deadline.
In these sessions we will:
- Explore the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and the POUR framework.
- Create accessibility-first teaching materials.
- Resolve accessibility issues in existing teaching materials.
We'll have plenty of time for Q and A and examples.

Accessibility and Accommodations Made Easy
In this one-hour virtual training, you'll learn how to create more accessible content in Canvas and effectively implement student accommodations. From using built-in accessibility tools to managing extended time on quizzes, this session will help you design an inclusive learning environment that supports all students. Walk away with practical strategies and increased confidence in meeting accessibility needs in your course.
