Majoring in biology will prepare you for a career in research, teaching, or the allied health sciences.
Your GRCC Pre-Biology Associate Degree will allow you to transfer as a junior to the four-year college or university of your choice to earn a bachelor's degree in Biology.
A Biology pre-major can also serve as a starting point if you know what discipline within biology you are interested in, for example:
- Allied health.
- Nursing.
- Physical therapy.
- Occupational therapy.
- Physician assistant.
- Medicine.
