One Workforce Program

Future-focused skills training

The One Workforce program provides students with funding and support to succeed in their advanced manufacturing skills education. One Workforce is here to ensure that you gain the education you need to step into a rewarding career. If you qualify, this program can assist with the cost of - up to four contact hours (in-district rate), Job Training programs in CNC/Machine Tooling, and Welding, or additional costs such as books, tools, boots, and more!

After gaining the skills to move into a career in manufacturing, our team of Job Developers will connect you with local manufacturing employers who are hiring for well-paying, advanced manufacturing jobs. About the One Workforce for West Michigan grant

Facilitated through GRCC's Workforce Training Department, this grant aims to bring together area employers, community colleges and organizations.

Partners will work to train our communities' current workforce in automation, digital manufacturing, the Internet of Things and more to:

  • Strengthen existing talent pipelines for Michigan manufacturers.
  • Create new talent pipelines.
  • Prepare those already in manufacturing with new skills for the next phase of manufacturing.

A copy of the GRCC's Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for review. This report is required by the federal law and contains statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain non-campus buildings or property owned and controlled by GRCC; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The ASR also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual misconduct, emergency procedures, and other matters. This report is available online at https://www.grcc.edu/annual-security-report. You can also request a hard copy by visiting the GRCC Police. If you would like to receive a printed copy of the ASR, you can stop by the GRCC Police Department at 25 Lyon Street NE or you can request a copy be mailed to you by calling (616) 234-4012.
