MRI Application Process

Please read all instructions carefully!

Application date

Applications will be accepted year round.  All received applications will be reviewed no later than January 31 for the following summer cohort.

Submitting your application

Submit all items in an envelope addressed to the Program Director of Radiologic Technology.

The entire packet must be delivered to GRCC Main Campus, Room 502 in the College Park Plaza Building by January 31 of the year you are requesting admittance. 

Application process if not previously graduated from an accredited educational institution in imaging

This application process is for individuals who have not previously graduated from an accredited educational institution, and registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography.

Application process for certificate program

Individuals applying for the certificate program must have graduated from an accredited educational institution, and be registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography. Individuals must also provide evidence of current CPR Certification for the Health Care Provider.

GRCC MRI Application

A copy of the GRCC's Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for review. This report is required by the federal law and contains statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain non-campus buildings or property owned and controlled by GRCC; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The ASR also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual misconduct, emergency procedures, and other matters. This report is available online at https://www.grcc.edu/annual-security-report. You can also request a hard copy by visiting the GRCC Police. If you would like to receive a printed copy of the ASR, you can stop by the GRCC Police Department at 25 Lyon Street NE or you can request a copy be mailed to you by calling (616) 234-4012.
