School of Liberal Arts

Our degree programs nurture creative minds, build critical thinking skills and transfer seamlessly to four-year institutions.

Explore your passion for the arts

Get ready to hone your passion for collaboration, communication and creative problem solving with a liberal arts degree.  With smaller class sizes, you can really get to know your instructors and classmates and put into practice what you learn about making a difference in the world.

Transfer-focused degree programs

Our Liberal Arts Academic Pathways and pre-major degrees are designed for students who would like to transfer their GRCC associate degree to a four-year college or university. Four year institutions recruit GRCC graduates. Hundreds of our students transfer each year, and report that they are better prepared, or just as prepared, for their junior year as the students who attended that institution their freshman and sophomore years.

Testimonial

Amanda Quist
One afternoon, my conductor stepped away from teaching to pick up some materials and asked me to conduct the choir. I felt as if I had stepped into myself in that moment.
