Flexible up to 20 hrs/wk, Monday – Friday, between 8am-4:30pm

Preference given to students who are able to commit to at least 2 or more semesters in this position, and students with work study funds in the fall and/or winter semesters.

Job Description
• Perform general office and administrative duties to support daily operations.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system with professionalism and excellent communication skills; check and respond to voicemail messages daily.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors; address inquiries and direct individuals as needed.
• Assist and guide students, faculty, and visitors in locating rooms and campus resources.
• Offer basic technology support to faculty and students, including document copying and equipment troubleshooting.
• Support dual enrollment students with GRCC application and admissions processes.
• Assist with course registration and demonstrate an understanding of GRCC's registration procedures.
• Help students navigate and utilize GRCC's Online Center and Canvas (My GRCC) systems.
• Monitor the High School Partnerships Welcome Center, ensuring proper use of computers, printers, and other equipment.
• Document and promptly report any concerns or incidents to the High School Partnerships Office Manager.
• Distribute college communications and updates to staff and students as needed.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Office Manager.

• Excellent communication and telephone etiquette, or a willingness to develop these skills.
• Familiarity with GRCC's campus and student services is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer proficiency, including word processing and internet navigation; willingness to
learn Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Peoplesoft, Canvas and Perceptive Content.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute effectively within a team environment.
• Positive attitude with a genuine interest in working with people.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills; ability to manage tasks
efficiently.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic.
• Reliable and punctual, with a consistent record of good attendance.
• Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Willingness to support a variety of job functions, especially during high-volume periods.
• Must wear appropriate office attire in accordance with professional standards.
• Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
