High School Partnerships

We offer high school students the chance to get a head start on their degrees and an easy transition from high school to college — at a low, or even free, rate.

Recommended application date for Fall by April 1, with class registration by April 30. For the Winter semester, recommended application date by October 1, with class registration by November 1.

  • Concurrent Enrollment: Let our faculty come to you. Earn high school and college credit in the same location.
  • Dual Enrollment: Earn college credit and experience while in high school.
  • Middle College: Earn a high school diploma and associate degree in a 13th year experience.
  • Grand Rapids Learning Center: Accelerated, online high school credit/diploma recovery, in partnership with Grand Rapids Public Schools.

National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP)

Grand Rapids Community College is accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) for the College courses taught at partnering Early Middle College sites by College Provided Faculty (CPF). NACEP works to ensure that these programs equal the rigor as those offered on campus and faculty follow College hiring and qualification processes. This accreditation ensures that all classes adhere to the highest standards so students experience a seamless transition to college.

GRCC is one of five colleges nationwide that follows the College Provided Faculty (CPF) model through our Middle College programming. The Early Middle College high school partnerships include Cedar Springs, East Kentwood, Kenowa Hills, Kent ISD - Launch U, GRPS Ottawa Hills and Wyoming high schools.

Notice of Availability (NOA) of the Annual Security Report (ASR)

A copy of the GRCC's Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for review. This report is required by the federal law and contains statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain non-campus buildings or property owned and controlled by GRCC; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The ASR also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual misconduct, emergency procedures, and other matters. This report is available online at https://www.grcc.edu/annual-security-report. You can also request a hard copy by visiting the GRCC Police. If you would like to receive a printed copy of the ASR, you can stop by the GRCC Police Department at 25 Lyon Street NE or you can request a copy be mailed to you by calling (616) 234-4012.
