Meet Our Staff

You will find some new faces in the offices and halls of Custer Alumni House!

Riley Brooket, scholarship coordinator – Brooket joined the foundation in 2022, after working at Jackson College, Grand Valley State University and WGVU.

Mary Reed, donor stewardship manager – A GRCC alumna, Reed started in the Financial Aid Office in 2002, stepping into her current foundation role in 2015.

Erin Van Egmond, executive directorBefore being named to the foundation’s top post, Van Egmond served as associate director. She started at GRCC in 1998 as a student worker in the Financial Aid Office and became part of the foundation in 2005, serving as donor relations coordinator and director of alumni relations.

Jenna Mencarelli

Jenna Mencarelli, development manager for Alumni Relations and annual giving – Mencarelli has worked with nonprofit organizations, including the state House and MOKA, for about 10 years. She joined GRCC in 2021.

Becca Rogers, database coordinator – Rogers joined GRCC in February 2023 as the foundation’s administrative assistant and was promoted to her new position in May. She previously worked with a variety of nonprofits, including Family Futures, Equity PAC and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan.
