Conferencing and Events

GRCC’s properties, buildings, parking lots and grounds are designed and reserved to support the mission and purposes of the institution. Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) makes its facilities available for public use on a rental basis as long as such use does not interfere with the primary purpose of education or compromise the safety and security of students, faculty, or staff.

We require one or a combination of the following documents, as applicable, upon space rental:

  • Signed facility use agreement
  • Verification of not-for-profit status (if appropriate)
  • Insurance documents as event requires

*Certificates of insurance are required for events with 50 people or more and/or which involve activity or equipment.

Additional Costs

  • In addition to rental, service fees will be included for activities necessary to provide for event.
    • Fees listed Event Service Fees table.
  • Additional Facility, Campus Police, Conference Services and AV/IT Support costs will be charged when required for events and/or times outside of normal business operations.

  • Food Services and Catering costs – Negotiated and direct bill with service provider
