The Workflow Tool allows you to transition pages from different states of publishing (Draft, Ready to Publish, Archive), and once you're ready to publish or hide your content, selecting "Save" automatically generates a ticket to the web team.

Once the web team receives the notice that your content is ready to publish, we help make sure your content is:

  • accessible.
  • optimized for search engines.
  • written for web and mobile.
  • follows best practices in writing for the web.

When does my content get published?

We publish or provide feedback within 24 hours.

If you have an even more urgent need, you can indicate your priority level on the ticket that's generated from the helpdesk.

How do I use Workflow?

You can create and edit pages and bios as normal, but when you are ready to save, you'll see the "Current State" and an option for "Change to". Select "Ready to Publish" when you are ready for your changes to go live!

Editing a page or bio that's already published

In the example provided, you'll see "Current state: Published." If you're editing a page that is already on our website and you're ready to update the page, select "Ready to update." You can also choose to hide the page by selecting "Archived."

As soon as you select "Save," a notice will be sent to the web team.

Creating a new page or bio

Keep your page in "Draft" if you'd like to keep working on it, or choosing "Update" and "Save" will automatically tell the web team your page is ready to publish.
