Background Check Process and Requirements

Background Check Process

When you enroll in a class that has a lab component, certain assignment requirements or is located in the Early Childhood Learning Lab (ECLL), you are giving us permission for the GRCC Police to run a Criminal Background Check through ICHAT (The Internet Criminal History Access Tool). This process will happen automatically when you enroll in a course that requires a Criminal Background Check. Students do not need to do anything to initiate the background check.

Questions or concerns can be directed to education@grcc.edu
