Occupational Support

GRCC's Occupational Support Program (OSP) offers advising, support, advocacy, financial resources and help with career readiness for eligible students.

Most of our students are navigating school along with family commitments, tight finances, work schedules and complex lives.  Occupational Support advisors partner with you to build a safety net that meets your needs and helps you get to the career you want.

What we do for students

We can help you complete your degree and be career-ready for a job in your field when you graduate by providing services unique to your needs:

  • Academic advising.
  • Assistance finding part-time employment opportunities in your field.
  • Child care assistance  (Pell Grant eligibility required).
  • Financial assistance (Pell Grant eligibility required).
  • Future job preparation, including career decision-making and planning.
  • Study skills.

Office Hours

These office hours reflect the typical hours that our phones are staffed by our office professional. In addition, Occupational Support advisors may be available earlier or later than the posted office hours. 

We are closed for all staff trainings, until 11 am, on Fridays. We're open from 11 am - 5 pm. 

Monday - Thursday: 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Friday: 11:00 am-5:00 pm
