GRCC will start accepting applications March 1 for the Fall cohort.

Submitting your application

Submit all items in an envelope addressed to the Program Director of Radiologic Technology.

The entire packet must be delivered to GRCC Main Campus, Room 502 in the College Park Plaza Building by 12 noon May 31.

Application process for certificate program

Individuals applying for the certificate program must have graduated from an accredited educational institution, and be registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography. Individuals must also provide evidence of current CPR Certification for the Health Care Provider.

Before you apply to the CT program

  1. Application will be accepted year round.  All received applications will be reviewed no later than Jan 31 for the following summer cohort.
  2. All transcripts from other colleges or universities attended must be received by GRCC’s Enrollment Services by January 1, of the year you are requesting admittance.

Admissions to the MRI Program at GRCC is based on points and a face-to-face interview process. Points are awarded based on academic achievement and the completion of the required documentation.

Resume - documenting the past five (5) years of work experience5 pts

Two letters of Recommendation from persons that can speak to your healthcare skills:

  1. One from a current supervisor who has worked with you in the past three (3) years. This must be on company letterhead, signed, and mailed directly to the CT Program Director at the address listed above.
  2. One from a Radiologist, Radiology PA, Radiology NP, or past Clinical Instructor.

  • Unofficial transcripts from the school where student completed Radiologic Technology Degree, including transfer credits included in the admissions packet.
  • Official transcripts sent to GRCC Enrollment Center.

A copy of the GRCC's Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for review.
