What is on the ALEKS Assessment?
All students planning to enroll in a math course within the next year must take the ALEKS assessment.
The math placement test adjusts to your skill level and covers topics from basic math up to Calculus I. Your results will show your strengths and areas to work on, and help place you into the right math course for you.
Taking the ALEKS Assessment
The ALEKS assessment can be accessed through the GRCC Online Center in your MyGRCC dashboard. If you experience any difficulty accessing it, please refer to this instructional video.
- If you prefer to use the testing center on the main campus, no appointment is needed. A photo ID is required. Testing at the Lakeshore location is available by appointment only.
