Services During COVID-19

Due to COVID-19, all Counseling and Career Development (CCD) services are currently provided remotely by Telemental Health appointments (counseling via video or phone). Please check back regularly for updates and resources as we expand our service offerings in the Fall semester.

Please Note: We are unable to provide same-day mental health emergency services at this time. If you are having a mental health emergency, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room. Additional resources can be found in the After Hours Help section on this website.

Fall 2020 services

  • Short-term Telemental Health (counseling via video or phone) are available by appointment to students who are currently enrolled in Fall courses. All incoming students who are registered for Fall 2020 will be eligible once fall classes begin on August 31.
  • Our services are free and confidential. You can schedule an appointment by calling (616) 234-4130. Our fall office hours are:
    • Monday and Wednesday: 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
