Coronavirus/COVID-19 Update

While the GRCC Counseling Center is closed, short-term Telemental Health sessions are available to students currently enrolled in courses. To schedule a Telemental Health appointment please call us at (616) 234-4130.

Please know our phone support is not for emergencies. If you’re experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Other resources include: The 24/7 Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255), The Crisis Text Line (Text HELLO to 741741). If your distress is related to COVID-19, you can contact the Disaster Distress Helpline at 1-800-985-5990 or text TalkWithUs to 66746 to connect with a crisis counselor for free confidential crisis support.
