The TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is a federally funded program whose mission is to provide opportunity to first-generation and low income participants wanting to obtain or finish their high school diploma and students wanting to further their education by pursuing a postsecondary degree or certificate.
Free Educational Support for Adults
- Adults (19+) who are first-generation and/or low-income
- Supports GED completion, trade schools and college degrees
- Help with admissions, FAFSA/scholarships and career exploration
- Services offered in English, French and Spanish
- Serving 13 West Michigan counties (Open to everyone regardless of their intended school — not just GRCC)

Our Community Partners
TRIO EOC has over 60 community partners across West Michigan. Through these partnerships, EOC connects individuals to a broader network of resources and services through referrals and participation in community-based events. Together, we create a comprehensive support system for students.
