Welcome to the Manufacturing Department! The department is divided into four programs: Tooling & Manufacturing, Plastics, Quality Science and Welding. We continuously improve our programs so you can connect to emerging jobs in the area or around the globe. Our goal is to maintain the highest level of instruction and the best technology available to prepare you for those new opportunities.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Manufacturing and Applied Technology departments is to prepare learners to pursue careers in the manufacturing and service industries and to increase the knowledge of manufacturing professionals and technical staff who wish to contribute to enhancing industrial competition. Our programs focus on the application of high-tech production equipment, software and techniques to achieve cost savings and quality in the manufacturing, service and distribution industries. Graduates can find a variety of employment opportunities in the areas of weld tech, facilities layout, process development, product development, quality control, technical sales and warehousing. Graduates are eligible for articulation into a variety of baccalaureate degree programs.
