Pre-Geology, A.A. (General Transfer)

As you earn your GRCC Pre-Geology Associate Degree, you will explore geologic principles. This multidisciplinary field also requires an understanding of biology, chemistry, physics and math.

Environmental consulting agencies, natural resource companies, non-profits, and government agencies all employ geologists with a four-year bachelor's degree. The Geology pre-major at GRCC will prepare you to transfer to the four-year college or university of your choice. There, you will begin work on your bachelor's degree in geological sciences as a junior. A master’s degree will increase your career options even further.
