The Academic Honors Recognition Reception is a special gathering that brings together students, families, faculty, and staff to celebrate the highest levels of academic achievement at GRCC. This event honors students who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, curiosity, and excellence through Achieving the Dream, Delta Pi Alpha, Honors Program Completion, and Graduates of Excellence distinctions.
Event Details
- Date: Thursday, April 16 from 6-8 p.m.
- Location: Main Campus, in the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center (ATC), 151 Fountain St, NE, Grand Rapids, Banquet Rooms and Secchia Piazza.
- Parking: Free parking is located in Student Lot #A (map of parking lot location)
- Light appetizers and assorted desserts will be provided.
- Please email us should you need special accommodations.
Event Overview
Refreshments are served between 6-6:30 p.m. with the presentation of awards starting at 6:30 p.m.
- During our short program, students will be called up to the front of the room to receive a certificate and medallion.
- We will be capturing the events special moments via a professional photographer and video recording.
- Photos and video will be made available after the event.
Students unable to attend the event will be provided instructions on how to pick up their items at Main Campus.
