The Career Success Program (CSP) is a career-readiness resource offered through GRCC’s Center for Career and Professional Readiness (CCPR). It helps students build practical professional skills that employers value across industries but that are not always taught directly in the classroom.
Through eight interactive modules, students explore workplace expectations, practice essential skills and prepare for their next step — whether that is a class presentation, student employment, an internship, a job search or advancement in their career.
What You’ll Gain
Practical Workplace Skills
Build confidence in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, professional behavior and career development through realistic workplace situations.
Flexible Learning
Complete one 15- to 30-minute module to learn a specific skill or work through multiple modules over time. CSP content can be completed independently or used as part of a course, advising conversation, workshop or professional-development experience.
Tools You Can Use
Each module includes interactive activities, a downloadable toolkit, a knowledge check and a certificate of completion. Students can use these resources in follow-up conversations with faculty, advisors, supervisors and CCPR staff.

How GRCC Students Access CSP
GRCC students access Career Success Program content through Canvas. A faculty member, academic advisor, student employee supervisor or CCPR staff member may recommend or share specific content based on a student’s goals.
If a module has been assigned or recommended, open it through Canvas.
Students who are interested in CSP but are not sure where to begin can contact CCPR for help selecting the most relevant content.
Not a GRCC Student?
The course content will soon be available to anyone on via public website.
Put Your Learning Into Action
Completing a module is only one step in becoming career ready. CCPR can help students apply what they learn through résumé and cover-letter assistance, interview preparation, career coaching, job and internship searches, workshops and other career-focused experiences.
Students can bring completed toolkits and certificates to a CCPR appointment, advising conversation or meeting with a faculty member or supervisor.
Using CSP With Students and Learners
CSP can also be used by faculty, advisors, GRCC employees, student employee supervisors, facilitators and community partners.
- Faculty can add selected content to Canvas.
- Advisors and student-support staff can recommend modules based on a student’s needs.
- GRCC employees can complete selected content through Professional Development.
- Community partners can use a public version with learners who do not have GRCC Canvas access.
Guides, presentation materials, referral tools, facilitator training and public-access information will soon be available.
