- Resident of West Michigan
- Allegan County
- Barry County
- Ionia County
- Kent County
- Lake County
- Mason County
- Mecosta County
- Montcalm County
- Muskegon County
- Newaygo County
- Oceana County
- Osceola County
- Ottawa County
Other Eligibility Criteria (required to meet one of the following):
- Low-income guidelines as defined by the U.S. department of Education
- First-generation college students (where neither parent(s) nor legal guardian has a bachelor degree).
- Have a documented disability
Individuals We Commonly Support
TRIO EOC has specialized support and services designed for eligible learners who:
- Are military veterans
- Have not yet completed a high school diploma or equivalency
- Are unemployed or underemployed
- Speak a primary language other than English
- Have experienced foster care or aged out of the foster care system
