The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Practitioner Certificate provides students with hands-on training in applied artificial intelligence.
Students learn to use AI tools and techniques to:
- Solve real-world problems
- Support data-driven decision-making
- Evaluate the ethical use of AI across a variety of settings
This certificate prepares students to contribute to AI-related projects in business, technology, cybersecurity, and other industries, and also provides a strong foundation for continued study in artificial intelligence and related fields.

In partnership with the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) is launching a version of this program delivered entirely in Spanish as a pilot cohort, beginning Fall 2026 and available again in Fall 2027.
