Students wishing to enroll in applied lessons must audition. Students wishing to pursue a degree in music should prepare the music listed items below. These requirements are suggestions. You may choose to perform any technique/pieces/scales that you feel demonstrates your best musical ability, and you will be placed in the appropriate level of applied study.

- 2 octave major and melodic minor scales
Repertoire
- 2 contrasting pieces of repertoire for your instrument. These can be etudes, different movements of one piece, or two different pieces.
