We’re here to help you achieve your academic goals through informed decision making. That includes helping you chart your path to graduation and creating a step-by-step plan for transferring.
Make an Appointment
- Call (616) 234-3900 to make an appointment.
- Drop in for open or express advising on the third floor of the Student Center, room 327, Main Campus.
- Appointments are recommended as an advisor is not always available.
We encourage you to meet often and regularly with an advisor. Find out how you can prepare for any of these appointments.
One-on-one appointments scheduled in advance. Each appointment lasts 30 minutes.
Walk-in and express advising
Offered on a drop-in basis. Stop by and see us on a first-come, first-serve basis for a 15-minute appointment. You may also drop in to get information fast during a five-minute express advising session.
An advisor is not always available; we recommend making an appointment when possible.
Academic suspension advising
You must submit the Academic Suspension Return Form two semesters in advance of when you would like to attend classes in order to allow the college time to process your request. If you are returning from Academic Suspension, you will be required to meet with an advisor before you are able to register for classes.
