Refreshing, rich or robust? Experience the sometimes bold, sometimes subtle, but always surprisingly satisfying craft beers brewed by students in our craft brewing program. Your craft beer can be paired with an appetizer from the chef-professors and students in our culinary arts degree program.

What better way to learn about these beers than by the students themselves! Just ask our craft brew certificate students and they’ll lead you through a guided tasting of the craft beer they brewed, and share their experiences in this program.

Hours 

Fountain Hill Brewery is typically open one night a week during the fall and winter semesters. This is when students in CRB 205 Craft Brewery Taproom Business Operations and Management apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in courses to earn their Craft Brewing, Packaging, and Service Operations Certificate.

Look for days and hours of operation for mid-September through November, and late January to mid-April.

We are located in the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center (ATC), on the corner of Fountain and Ransom Streets. Parking is available in the garage off of Ransom Ave. below the ATC, and the physical address is 151 Fountain Street NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
