The Office of Institutional Equity is committed to transparency, accountability, and ensuring compliance with federal and state civil rights laws. This page provides access to the policies, procedures, and compliance resources that guide the College's response to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, sexual misconduct, and other conduct prohibited by College policy.

The resources below provide access to GRCC's policies, complaint procedures, training materials, and other compliance resources related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and sexual misconduct.

Complaint Resolution Procedures

GRCC utilizes a single complaint resolution procedures document that contains separate processes depending on the nature of the reported conduct.

Procedure A: Title IX Sexual Harassment addresses reports of sexual harassment prohibited under Policy 6.5, including conduct that falls within Title IX jurisdiction.

Procedure B: Non-Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation addresses reports of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation prohibited under Policy 6.2, including conduct that does not fall within Title IX jurisdiction.

Public Title IX Training MaterialsFederal regulations require institutions to make certain training materials used by Title IX personnel publicly available. These materials are used to train Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, informal resolution facilitators, and others responsible for implementing the College's Title IX obligations.
Annual Security ReportThe Annual Security Report contains information regarding campus safety, crime statistics, prevention and awareness programs, reporting options, rights, and resources available to students and employees.

External Reporting Agencies

Individuals have the right to file complaints with external agencies in addition to, or instead of, utilizing College processes.

Report a Concern

Students, employees, and community members may report concerns involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, sexual misconduct, or other conduct prohibited by College policy.

Reports may be submitted through the online reporting form, by contacting the Office of Institutional Equity directly, or by reporting to any mandated reporter, Title IX Coordinator, or Deputy Title IX Coordinator.

The Office of Institutional Equity coordinates the College's response to reports and complaints involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and sexual misconduct and works to ensure equal access to educational and employment opportunities.

Dr. Lisa Thomas serves as the College's Director of Equal Opportunity Compliance and Title IX Coordinator and oversees implementation of the College's Title IX and non-discrimination programs.
