Alternative Options for Connecting with an AATC Academic Advisor

  1. Academic Advising Labs:  This is the new program replacing express advising/ drop-in advising of the past for July & August. Learn more about the days, times and services offered through the advising labs page.
  2. Quick Advising: The Grand Rapids Campus (RJF first Floor), we offer quick advising on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 5-6 p.m. 
    • This time is for quick questions regarding your fall semester courses and are not intended to be a full advising appointment, nor orientation.
    • Each night, when we reach our capacity, we will be unable to assist more students.
    • Please check in at the first floor of RJF desk in the Student Services Center.
  3. Lakeshore Campus Quick Advising: The Lakeshore Campus (Room 101) will be offering in-person quick advising for the month of August. These sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are intended for course planning and other advising questions. They are not intended to replace a full advising appointment or New Student Orientation. Once we reach capacity for a session, we will be unable to assist additional students.
    • Advising sessions:
      • Wednesday, Aug. 12 | 3–5 p.m.
      • Friday, Aug. 14 | 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
      • Monday, Aug. 17 | 1–3 p.m.
      • Monday, Aug. 24 | 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
  4. Reach out to your advisor: Your academic advisor can be accessed via email and texting. See all the opportunities your advisor has to serve you by selecting their photo in the Faculty and Staff section.
